Board Certified in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
Raised in Port Huron, MI, Dr. Brian Murphy attended Michigan State University where he received All-Big Ten honors as a Spartan pitcher.
After playing professional baseball for the Baltimore Orioles, Dr. Murphy
attended the University of Detroit-Mercy School of Dentistry receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery. He subsequently completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Hospital of Saint Raphael and Yale-New Haven Hospital in New Haven, Connecticut.
Dr. Murphy is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and currently serves on the examination committee.
He is a member of numerous local and national organizations and currently is on staff at Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital (Royal Oak campus) and Ascension Providence Rochester Hospital.
